Targe Towing offers towage and marine services from our bases on the East coast of Scotland. With a strong history of terminal and harbour towage, Targe provides towage services in the following ports:

- Braefoot bay marine terminal
- Hound Point marine terminal
Targe Towing specialises in supporting vessel movements associated with the offshore wind industry as well as complex towage project such as the movement of Jack up Oil rigs, FPSOs and other floating structures in and out of port.
Targe Towing provides marine services in the form of crew transfer vessels, line handling vessels and terminal operational staff.
In addition Targe Towing is able to support our customers by providing a range of tugs on a time charter basis.
Training and specialist courses have a high profile at Targe Towing.
Training includes Simulator and live exercises with Pilots; Emergency Response training at Risc Fire School, Europort and on location focusing upon on-scene-commander role and firefighting on 3rd party ships and property.
Crews are also trained in Oil Spill Response and First Responder in addition to STCW Medical Training, evacuation and ISPS training and Personal Development.
Targe Towing regularly hold the specialist Marine Emergency Response Course “MERC” which is open to stakeholders and other interested parties. This course focuses on use of tugs for firefighting in an oil tanker fire scenario and covers the management of such major incident. The MERC draws a diverse audience of oil major, emergency services, port authorities, local and national government as well as regulators.
